forex trading for beginners video tutorial Well you may notice a few many changes to the blog! I’d LOVE your feedback on what you think of the new logo, sidebar and overall feel of the blog. Suggestions are welcome! Is it easy to navigate?? There are a few more tweets to be made still. I’m not so great at the technical aspect of blogging but I am learning!

I’ve been on a bit of a blogging hiatus recently due to LOTS of traveling! In the last few weeks, I’ve traveled from Seattle to Atlanta and lots of places in between. I’m ready for a lazy weekend but the traveling isn’t over yet! I do love to travel and its been so great to road trip, take photos and make lots-o-memories. Plus Adam is the best to travel with:)   Can’t wait to show you photos from my best friend Kimber’s wedding. Her dress was sooo beautiful.

Here’s a few from Atlanta, we went to The Varsity for lunch which was an experience in itself. It was crazy packed, I’d go back just for the atmosphere.  We also went to the Georgia Aquarium! I’d highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Lauren - This is great! I love the new color scheme and header and the side bar is very informative. I’m impressed with all your linking abilities, too. Very nice.

Tonya - It’s very nice! I like the links and the set-up.

I’m SO excited to introduce MINI sessions this year! And to have an INDOOR  place to shoot located right off the square in downtown Bowling Green.

What is a Mini session?

short selling forex A mini session is a shortened version of the regular session. These mini sessions are a great way to try me out before booking  a regular session or if you know you just want holiday cards or a few prints a mini session is the best way to go. These limited edition sessions are usually 25 minutes in length and can accommodate up to 4 people.  (each add’l person $25)

What style of photography do you do?

I take on a lifestyle approach when I shoot. I like my sessions to be relaxed and allow your children to show their personality. Some mini session events are themed but they don’t have to be. If you just need a few headshots or a new family portrait we can do that too.

How many MINI session events do you do and where do they take place?

Mini sessions are only offered a few times a year and they are held in downtown Bowling Green. Shots can be in and/or outdoors.

How do I sign up for a mini session appointment?

They recently welcomed a new member to their family, I think you will see the family resemblance! He is so cute and I love how he is looking at his little fingers in a few of these photos. So I thought I would share a little before and after project I’ve been working on recently. For about oh…6 years now I’ve hung everything up in my closet and had tupperware drawers. Yes I’ve been living out of tupperware drawers for quite a while now. But that’s okay because I’m sort of a minimalist and didn’t want extra furniture in my room. (The tupperware drawers also fit in my closet…and no my closets not a walk-in ha). Anyways…one Saturday morning Adam and I went thrifting and found this lovely dresser. Or not so lovely at first… but this dresser was ONLY $20! Can’t beat that.

So after a fresh coat of paint, new knobs I think it looks pretty stinkin good. I’m happy with it at least. I also FINALLY got some of my photos printed and framed, you can see how those turned out in the last photo. Oh and the new knobs were found at Hobby Lobby and that week and they were 50% off! Oh how I love Hobby Lobby.

Oh and I also collect wire baskets, on Etsy they can sell for $20++ If you look around at your thriftstores you can usually find them for just $1 or $2 dollars. Maybe I’ll do a post soon on little corners of my home and things I collect.

Let me know what you think. Have YOU had any fun thrift store finds that you have redone? I’d love to see them!

Rhonda Smith - Like your dresser–very retro. . .thinking of the 70’s because I had a bedroom suite that color (LOL).

Lauren - Super pretty! Way to upcycle that dresser.

Laura - Rhonda- that’s awesome, you should have kept that 70s dresser! Lauren- Thanks! I hope to upcycle some more furniture soon.

Emily Brown - awesome dresser…I want one, so if you see another one at a garage sale, let me know

I predict you will someday use this in a nursery as your baby’s dresser/changing table–mark my words
