Remember the adorable Allen girls from last Summer? The ones that should be little models for polo? Well click HERE if you missed that post. This time we met there cousins traveled to Bowling Green to take some photos together for their Christmas cards and as a gift to their grandparents. I loved how coordinated their outfits were! They weren’t too matchy-matchy and all looked great.
Hope you enjoy a few from their session. I’d love to know your thoughts!

Here’s an update to “My life in iphone photos”. People ask me all the time about what kind of equipment they should get to start out with. And there are tons of awesome camera’s out there. But it is always nice to remember that the best camera is the one you have with you. Whether that be a DSLR, a point and shoot, or just your camera phone. Shoot everyday with whatever you have, because there is no better time than now to start catpuring those memories.
Here’s photos I took with my iphone this week. I think this might be a weekly post. Any thoughts on that?
I would love to know what you think.

Thought I would do something a little different and show you my life so far this fall in cell phone pictures. This post was inspired by Elsie from A Beautiful Mess and Carl Zoch.
I have been pretty impressed since I got an iphone and if you know me personally you know I take A LOT of photos. All of these were taken and edited on my iphone with either the TiltShiftGen , Skake It Photo or QuadCamera app. Hopefully these photos will show you that you don’t need an expensive camera to start taking photos and capturing those memories.

This photo of tickets is from work this week…where I participated in an ugly Christmas sweater contest. I didn’t win, but I did make it in the top 5! haha

Waffle House…don’t know why I like to eat at this place so much???

Waffle Beard! Made by Adam.
Traffic on the way home one night.
From a flight out to California earlier this year.
And…in California!

I just liked this zebra fabric. So I took a picture of it.

And me, sporting Argyle and HOT PINK Wayferers thanks to my good friend Byron.

Happy Holidays!!

Can’t believe how fast this holiday season has gone. I told myself I would be R-E-A-L-L-Y organized and get so much done before December, just so I could enjoy every little bit of this holiday season. I even started listening to Christmas music back in October…that’s how pumped I have been to celebrate the holidays. I’m done shopping but not finished with all the homemade gifts I am making. So tomorrow will be busy busy. I’m glad I’ll be staying home for most of the day working on projects instead of fighting the holiday traffic!
So I just wanted to share with you an idea I made for Adam. I wanted to do something fun for his Christmas present. I had been looking for the perfect vintage suitcase for weeks now and one day when Adam and I were out for lunch we ran into Grandma’s Attic…one of my favorite thrift stores here. And we found this awesome blueish suitcase. So he knew how excited I was to find it but of course I had no idea what I was going to use it for. So basically for the 12 days of Christmas he has something special to open…maybe a gift, maybe just a note, every day is different. I got the idea from one of my best friends growing up. Her grandmother always gave the grandkids 12 gifts, 12 days before Christmas and I thought that was the coolest idea.
And in case you are wondering I got the wooden tag on the big red box from The Hickory Tree’s Etsy Shop. I got a few more things from her shop that you’ll see soon in another crafty post.

Graphic Design is something that I really love to do but don’t do very often. I do L-O-V-E designing cards for people and hope to make the time to do more of these next year.
Here is one I created for The Allen Family. I still need to post their photos from their last shoot… I have LOTS of photos and projects to share. I promise in 2010 I’ll be a better blogger! I think its going to be one of my resolutions…
Hope you enjoy this card. I’d love to know your thoughts!
Also what are you favorite card companies to print with? I’ve noticed Shutterflyreally upped their designs this year with some super cute ones. And Minted has really caught my eye with great designs.
