And of course my favorite guy to travel with : ) What do you love today? *all photos taken with my iphone Troy just walked in the room and asked, “Why are you looking at jars of marbles?” to which I replied, “Whatever Laura loves today, I love today.” I like the pretty linens on the pallet thingy! You and Adam are the cutest couple in the world (besides us, of course). Love ya! I am loving the pallet idea! Thanks for sharing!!! Now if only I were handy and could just whip that up. I’m not so great at the technical aspect of blogging but I am learning! I’ve been on a bit of a blogging hiatus recently due to LOTS of traveling! In the last few weeks, I’ve traveled from Seattle to Atlanta and lots of places in between. I’m ready for a lazy weekend but the traveling isn’t over yet! I do love to travel and its been so great to road trip, take photos and make lots-o-memories. Plus Adam is the best to travel with Here’s a few from Atlanta, we went to The Varsity for lunch which was an experience in itself. It was crazy packed, I’d go back just for the atmosphere. We also went to the Georgia Aquarium! I’d highly recommend it if you are in the area.            by Laura 11 comments This is great! Meet Chris & Jenny Rutt! They were married on January 2, 2010. It was such a pleasure shooting their wedding. The wedding took place at Community Church of Christ in downtown Bowling Green, this is a beautiful church building! It was a beautiful and FUN wedding. Hope these photos give you a little feel for their day. Congrats Chris and Jenny!

I love love love this family and am so glad I have gotten to know them through church the last couple of years. They recently welcomed a new member to their family, I think you will see the family resemblance! He is so cute and I love how he is looking at his little fingers in a few of these photos. They were also the first lucky family to try out my new backdrop. What do you think? Also take note of their awesome green chair they got at an auction for $15! What can you do with our clan? Love these pictures! Wow, these capture the personality of all of you. These are great!!!! Makes me want to have some taken soon! Emily and her family are BEAUTIFUL! I think she takes after her older sister. Oh gosh, LOVE the siblings pics! Look how sweet they are all together! Swoon! (Almost makes me want to have another!) So I thought I would share a little before and after project I’ve been working on recently. For about oh…6 years now I’ve hung everything up in my closet and had tupperware drawers. Yes I’ve been living out of tupperware drawers for quite a while now. But that’s okay because I’m sort of a minimalist and didn’t want extra furniture in my room. (The tupperware drawers also fit in my closet…and no my closets not a walk-in ha). Anyways…one Saturday morning Adam and I went thrifting and found this lovely dresser. Or not so lovely at first… but this dresser was ONLY $20! Can’t beat that. So after a fresh coat of paint, new knobs I think it looks pretty stinkin good. I’m happy with it at least. I also FINALLY got some of my photos printed and framed, you can see how those turned out in the last photo. Oh and the new knobs were found at Hobby Lobby and that week and they were 50% off! Oh how I love Hobby Lobby. Oh and I also collect wire baskets, on Etsy they can sell for $20++ If you look around at your thriftstores you can usually find them for just $1 or $2 dollars. Maybe I’ll do a post soon on little corners of my home and things I collect. Let me know what you think. Have YOU had any fun thrift store finds that you have redone? I’d love to see them!

Rhonda- that’s awesome, you should have kept that 70s dresser! Lauren- Thanks! I hope to upcycle some more furniture soon. awesome dresser…I want one, so if you see another one at a garage sale, let me know I predict you will someday use this in a nursery as your baby’s dresser/changing table–mark my words Here’s a little SNEAK PEAK at a photoshoot last Saturday with The Brown Family! Don’t you just l-o-v-e that green chair?! They got it an auction for $15!! I don’t know about you but I think I’ll be going to more auctions looking for great furniture, especially for photo shoots : ) This one matched perfect with the backdrop. This time we met there cousins traveled to Bowling Green to take some photos together for their Christmas cards and as a gift to their grandparents. I loved how coordinated their outfits were!
