5 Things I love today.
Category Archives: MY LIFE We’ve been traveling fools lately! Here’s a few photos from our recent road trip to Atlanta!  So I thought I would share a little before and after project I’ve been working on recently. For about oh…6 years now I’ve hung everything up in my closet and had tupperware drawers. Yes I’ve been living out of tupperware drawers for quite a while now. But that’s okay because I’m sort of a minamilist and didn’t want extra furniture in my room. (The tupperware drawers also fit in my closet…and no my closets not a walk-in ha). Anyways…one Saturday morning Adam and I went thrifting and found this lovely dresser. Or not so lovely at first… but this dresser was ONLY $20! Can’t beat that. So after a fresh coat of paint, new knobs I think it looks pretty stinkin good. I’m happy with it at least. I also FINALLY got some of my photos printed and framed, you can see how those turned out in the last photo. Oh and the new knobs were found at Hobby Lobby and that week and they were 50% off! Oh how I love Hobby Lobby. Let me know what you think. Have YOU had any fun thrift store finds that you have redone? I’d love to see them!   Here’s an update to “My life in iphone photos”. People ask me all the time about what kind of equipment they should get to start out with. And there are tons of awesome camera’s out there. But it is always nice to remember that the best camera is the one you have with you. Whether that be a DSLR, a point and shoot, or just your camera phone. Shoot everyday with whatever you have, because there is no better time than now to start catpuring those memories. Here’s photos I took with my iphone this week.  I’ve decided to start a 52 week project! I’ll take one photo every week for a year.  Thought I would do something a little different and show you my life so far this fall in cell phone pictures. This post was inspired by Elsie from A Beautiful Mess and Carl Zoch.  Can’t believe how fast this holiday season has gone. I told myself I would be R-E-A-L-L-Y organized and get so much done before December, just so I could enjoy every little bit of this holiday season. I even started listening to Christmas music back in October…that’s how pumped I have been to celebrate the holidays....  Of course every day pretty much starts with coffee…This photo of Starbucks was actually sort of an accident. But I loved the way it turned out. The next few are experiments making heart boketh. And the last photo of course is what regular boketh looks like.  Meet the Rich family. It was great to spend some time with this family in downtown Bowling Green! |
